Brian thought it would be funny to share his glass with Aubrey. He was drinking Pepsi but didn't give her any. If you look closely you can see her little tongue licking the glass.

Poor Miss A is sick. School called yesterday around 4:30 to say she was running a temp of 100.8. I went to get her and we headed home. We hung out at home and she was super cuddly, fussy and tired. This is not like her so we knew she wasn't feeling well. We monitored the temp and at it's highest it hit 102.8 - she felt like a little baked potato. She hadn't slept well Thursday night and now we know why - she was coming down with something.

I took this morning off and we hung out. She was in a happier mood but still warm so I called the doctor. We went in so that they could check her out and the verdict was a temp over 100 and a red throat. Poor kiddo. She and Brian spent the afternoon together and she basically slept the entire time while I was at work.

Keep your fingers crossed for a quick recovery.

Guess who slept until 6 am?

We all did! Hooray! Last night Aubrey and I went to Wal-Mart to grab some stuff and on the 5 minute drive home she passed out. I brought her into the house and she didn't wake up so I left her in her carseat. Around 10 pm I got a bottle of frozen milk ready for her and took her out of the seat and got her changed (she screamed!). We got her all settled and then I gave her a 4 oz bottle. She conked back out and I put her in her little papasan chair so that she could sleep upright to help with the congestion. I am super paranoid about scorpians and didn't trust the chair on theground so we put that inside of her pack and play and she slep there. The alarm went off at 6am and Miss Aubrey was still in the papasan chair and not in our bed! I think this was a fluke but it would be awesome if this was a new schedule :)

Yes I know this is an old pic but I have no fun new ones at the moment. This is just a reminder of how tiny she was!

Easter Grass

As you can see from the pictures the biggest hit in the Easter basket this year was the grass!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had an Easter Egg hunt over at Aubrey's school. She got 5 eggs that were hidden around the courtyard. We traded the eggs in for a treat bag full of goodies. Tootsie rolls, Starburst and Lifesavers for us big kids and Aubrey ended up with a friendship bracelet and a bettle tatoo! Weird, huh? But we had fun so that is all that matters.

After the hunt we headed to the house in Laveen to weed the front yard. Our neighbor came over to say hello and Aubrey FREAKED out! She started crying hysterically and it took awhile to settle her down. I think she is still feeling a little off from the shots yesterday. She slept off and on today (30 minutes at a time which is usual) and had a slight fever. We gave her some tylenol and she seemed to cool off and was happier. Hopefully tomororrow she'll be back to her normal happy self!

What did the scale say???

I had the day off today because Aubrey's school was closed for Good Friday. It was so awesome to spend the day with Miss A. We had Aubrey's 6 month visit to the doctor today. She weighs 14 lbs and 8 oz which puts her in the 25% for weight. She is 25.5 inches long and in the 50% for height. Doctor said all looks good on that home front!

She had 5 shots and an oral vaccine and she was not a happy camper. Poor baby was in a lot of pain! She has been tired today which is the first shot appt where she has been tired! She is currently passed out on the couch.

I asked the doc about her stuffy nose. It has been stuffy since she caught the cold back in early February. She said it is not seasonal allergies as Aubrey is too young for those but she said she could be stuffy from all of the things stirred up in the air right now. She suggested we get a Hepa filter so we will try that out and hopefully see a difference.

After the doctor appt we had lunch with Brian today and then went to Buy Buy Baby to exchange a stroller toy that we had bought. We upgraded to a better one and we are excited to have her try it out. It is one of her Easter gifts so she'll get it on Sunday.

Earlier today she was hanging out in her boppy and I walked away to run to the bathroom. I came back out and she had ripped off one of her band-aids and was sampling it. Silly monkey!
